TMI7105B is single-chip power management IC integrating one wide input voltage and high efficiency synchronous Buck convert (BUCK1), one low voltage 1A synchronous Buck convert (BUCK2) and two 600mA low-dropout linear regulators (LDO1 and LDO2). BUCK1 operates in force PWM mode with adjustable switching frequency and provides up to 3A output current. Switching frequency can be set by external resistor. BUCK2 is 1.5MHz switching frequency current mode buck converter and it can run at 100% duty cycle for low dropout operation. BUCK2 offers PWM mode and PFM mode, which allows a high efficiency over the wider range of the load condition. LDO1 and LDO2 are designed to work with low-ESR ceramic capacitors, reducing the amount of the PCB area necessary for power applications. Only a 1μF ceramic output capacitor can make the device stable over the whole load range current (0mA to 600mA). Advanced production features include input UVLO, thermal shutdown, soft start and input and output OVP.
