The STI8019 is a fully integration Li-on battery Linear charging and boost discharging battery management IC with multi-function for total solution in power bank application. STI8019 integrates all functions of power bank application include: linear charger, high performance DC/DC boost discharger, and 4 level LED battery capacity indicator, Meanwhile, it also has 50mA LED torch function.

The STI8019 has 92% high efficiency boost converter and it output current capability is up to 2A. When it is in no load condition, the device enter into power saving mode automatic, and the device weak up automatic when the load is connected. The device offers OTP, output OVP and output OCP protections.

The STI8019 integrates linear charger function and it supports up to 1A programmable charging current. It has pre-charge, constant current and constant voltage charging function to ensure battery safety.

The STI8019 provides 2mA output current to drive 4 level LEDs to indicator current and charging status.
